Meet the Artist Jean-Pierre Bredo
On the occasion of the release of his book dedicated to the colors of the Belgian flag

We are pleased to invite you to a special evening on November 16th at 7 PM to meet Jean-Pierre Bredo, a contemporary artist whose works celebrate the colors of the Belgian flag. The event will feature a captivating talk about his artistic vision, followed by an exclusive book signing session.

Just like in 2018, Atelier 34zero Muzeum is once again renewing its Portrait Gallery. Although the Atelier is a free initiative, independent of the political framework, we wish to participate culturally and in our own way in the upcoming municipal elections. Because we are convinced that art has the power to provoke deep reflection and change society, we are shining a light on candidates who have a strong interest in culture, regardless of their party or political orientation.

Unlike previous editions of the Portrait Gallery, it was unfortunately not possible to make the event fully artistic. Only election posters will be displayed. Nevertheless, our approach remains clear: the goal of the Portrait Gallery is to pay tribute to the candidates who bring life and vitality to the municipality by visiting and participating in contemporary art activities in our socio-cultural garden.

The posters will be on display from Saturday, October 5th, until the elections. Come to our vernissage to talk with the candidates and learn more about the Atelier's projects for the next four years.

For this June's edition of Cuisine du Monde, we invite you to discover Ukrainian cuisine, and more specifically its 2 emblematic dishes: "Borscht" and "Deruny".
In the spotlight is Sofia Rufa, a Ukrainian refugee from Odessa who has worked as a chef. 👩‍🍳
 
Ukrainian "borscht" is prepared on a base of chicken broth and features carrots, onions, tomatoes, parsley, garlic, kidney beans and, of course, beet. Accompanied by potatoes, it is served with "Pampouchqui" - a garlic and herb bread roll. 🧄
 
"Deruny" consists of finely grated potatoes, finely grated onions, egg and flour, crème fraîche, garlic and pepper. Shaped into delicious pan-fried potato pancakes, they are served with mushroom sauce or a little sour cream. 🥣
 
We offer service from 12pm, all day and into the evening.
 
Dinner is priced at €22. You can, of course, wash it down with a small vodka or beer.

This time, we will take you on a journey to the Mediterranean with a restaurant "Tour du Monde" for a delicious Syrian Couscous, made from bulgur infused with dried mint, slow-cooked beef, and flavorful vegetables.

The Atelier 34zéro Muzeum

 

 

For the March edition of the world cuisine, we invite you to discover one of the emblematic dishes of Georgia: the khinkalis. These raviolis were originally the traditional dish of mountain shepherds. There are various versions, but we have chosen to let you try the most popular one, the one filled with meat. The chef will make you taste her juicy khinkalis, filled with beef, lamb, onions and a typical mixture of spices. You will be able to adopt the traditional tasting technique so as not to lose a single drop of the delicious broth contained in this delicacy; make a small hole and drink the juice! A Georgian dessert will also be available on the menu!
