The Atelier 34zero Muzeum propose a new edition of its thematic exhibition around pig in modern and contemporary art.
In modern art, the pig personifies dirt, gluttony, lust and anger and is often used for satirical purposes. In contemporary art, the pig has a special status that has been expressed repeatedly in a variety of works: painting, sculpture, performance, etc. It serves as a tense mirror for society to reveal the various pathological phenomena that are at work. It is not surprising, therefore, that pigs often play the role of humans in contemporary art. That is why, even if he represents only himself, the pig is never to be taken lightly.
This exhibition is held both in the cultural park and inside the buildings of the Atelier 34zero Muzeum.
