Chicken yassa
Thursday, December 4th, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Thursday, December 4th, for the World Kitchens of the Atelier, I will be serving you a chicken yassa.
A dish that doesn’t apologize: it stings, it snaps, it explodes.
It’s acidic, fiery, alive. Like Senegal, where I lived adventures wild enough to stay with me for a lifetime.
I come from the theatre world, and rest assured: I am not abandoning my first passion.
But there is a second one that has been simmering in me for a long time: cooking in veeeery large pans.
Paella, yes… but not only that.
Anything that crackles, anything that feeds a crowd, anything that gathers people around a large circle of burning metal — that speaks to me.
If I am here, at the World Kitchens of the 34zero Muzeum, it is to share this cuisine that awakens, that makes noise, that brings people together.
And hold on: a new mobile cooking concept is coming, with more dishes…

« You won't forget these flowers »
Opening
Saturday 01.03.2025 at 4 p.m.
While the war in Ukraine is in its third year and men are running out, there are, behind the lines, those who remain and try to maintain a semblance of normality.
The flowers are those that shells make on the ground, those that are placed on graves, those that old ladies tend, despite the bombings, at the foot of the ruined towers.
